Ricciardo remaining optimistic despite results not being where he wants them to be

Since switching from Red Bull for Renault it hasn't been plain sailing for Daniel Ricciardo and the Australian has admitted his results aren't what he would like them to be. Renault have struggled in general this season and it has rubbed off on Ricciardo's results as he suffered two DNFs at the opening two races before finally scoring a P7 in China. He got his second points of the season in Monaco but only managed P9 after winning the race in the principality last season. The former Red Bull driver is pleased with the buzz around the team but was frank when it came to his results.
