Mario Isola says Pirelli haven't been asked to change the 2019 Formula 1 tyres

As always, the tyres have given Formula 1 fans, journalists and teams plenty to talk about during the 2019 season. Mercedes seem to be the only team to have mastered them, while Haas has significantly struggled. But boss Mario Isola says no change requests have been made. The thinner thread was introduced this season to reduce blistering and overheating. With Mercedes maintaining a 100% record in 2019, suggestions have been made to go back to the 2018 compounds. Both Ferrari and Red Bull made those suggestions during the Canadian Grand Prix weekend while Lewis Hamilton said: "we need better tyres" to make F1 more competitive.
