Vandoorne is keen for Le Mans return and win after making his debut today

Former Formula 1 driver Stoffel Vandoorne made his Le Mans debut, and his first experience has given him the hunger to return and win. The Belgian driver finished third in his first race for the SMP Racing team. Also in his team were the slightly more experienced Vitaly Petrov and Mikhail Aleshin. Out of the three Vandoorne drove for nine hours, the highest total in the team.  “The first experience was fantastic. It was very exciting between us and the Rebellions, I think they were slightly faster even at certain points.
