Zandvoort keen to avoid May date for F1 return

Organisers of next year's Dutch Grand Prix have requested that the race does not arrive in Zandvoort over the weekend of May 4/5 – amid claims that it could indeed be the spot that Formula 1 finds on the calendar for its return to the Netherlands. With Zandvoort expected to replace Barcelona on the calendar, Spain's early-May slot is the logical place for the Dutch race to return after 35 years away.
