Racing Point have 'plenty more upgrades in the pipeline' according to team principal Otmar Szafnauer as they seek to overhaul the midfield battle. The midfield fight is hugely competitive this season with fourth-placed McLaren just 17 points ahead of Alfa Romeo in ninth, with the top three well clear and Williams bringing up the rear with zero points. Racing Point finds itself in the middle of the battle, two points ahead of Toro Rosso and nine behind Renault which jumped from seventh to fifth in the standings thanks to its double points finish in Canada.
