FIA summon Ferrari before right of review hearing over Vettel penalty

French Grand Prix – The FIA has summonsed representatives from Ferrari to a hearing involving race stewards over the Sebastian Vettel penalty from Canada. Ferrari came to Paul Ricard this week having decided against lodging a formal appeal against the time penalty that cost Sebastian Vettel victory in the Canadian Grand Prix two weeks ago. However, they signaled their intent to take a different approach – namely going to the FIA for a ‘right of review' over the decisions made by the Canadian Grand Prix race stewards.
