Ricciardo worried about fans losing interest in boring races

Renault driver Daniel Ricciardo has admitted he worries about the fans losing interest in Formula 1 races when the race is not compelling enough. The French Grand Prix on Sunday has been heavily criticised for not being exciting enough - with Lewis Hamilton dominating the race from start to finish - being almost 19 seconds ahead of his nearest competitor and Mercedes team-mate Valtteri Bottas when he crossed the line. It was Mercedes' eighth consecutive victory and its sixth one-two finish of the season.
