Verstappen refuses to discuss Red Bull exit clause

Max Verstappen has, sort of, responded to rumours regarding an exit-clause in his contract with Red Bull which he could exercise to leave the team if they do not close the performance gap on Mercedes and Ferrari. Spanish newspaper Marca previously claimed that the Dutchman would be free to negotiate an early release if he does not win a grand prix before the summer break this season. Other reports have claimed that Red Bull must finish in the top three to guarantee keeping hold of Verstappen.
