Max Verstappen ends Mercedes domination with thrilling Austrian GP win

Max Verstappen put a halt to the dominance of Mercedes in Austria as he claimed a thrilling victory in the closing laps of the race with a late pass on Ferrari's Charles Leclerc for the lead. The Dutchman, who started second, endured a horrid start as he bogged down on the line, dropping back to eighth behind his team-mate Pierre Gasly, but drove a brilliant race to close up to the front before launching a late attack to claim back-to-back wins in Austria.
