Giovinazzi describes 'weight off shoulders' after scoring first points in F1
The Austrian Grand Prix marked a special moment for the Alfa Romeo driver Antonio Giovinazzi as the Italian scored his first point in Formula 1. This seasons midfield battle has been incredibly tight and scoring points is vital as only a few points will separate the teams come the end of the season. “I’m so happy to score my first point. It’s a great feeling and it’s a big weight off my shoulders,” Giovinazzi said to the Official F1 Website. “I think this is the maximum we could have done so I’m really pleased.
