Pirelli reveals teams' tyre choices for British GP

Formula 1 tyre supplier Pirelli has revealed the choices made by teams for next weekend’s British Grand Prix. Pirelli has nominated the C1, C2 and C3 compounds for the grand prix at the high-energy Silverstone circuit, the three hardest compounds from its range. As usual Pirelli mandates one of each compound for every driver, after which they are permitted free choice for the remaining 10 sets from their allocation of 13. The front-running teams have all made similar choices, with Ferrari and Red Bull opting for nine sets of Softs, three sets of Mediums, and just one set of Hards.
