McLaren and Fernando Alonso go their separate ways!

Reports have emerged that McLaren and Fernando Alonso have ended their partnership together, over a month after the pair's disastrous attempt to qualify for the Indy 500. According to Motorsport Magazine, McLaren and Alonso have no further plans to collaborate in the future and are parting on amicable terms. While the two-time world champion left Formula 1 at the end of last season, Alonso remained affiliated with McLaren has a brand ambassador but also as a driver, testing the Woking-based outfit's MCL34 in Bahrain earlier this year and taking part in the 103rd running of the Indianapolis 500.
