Albon couldn’t box a second time due to ‘high voltage issue’

Due to a ‘high voltage issue’ Alexander Albon wasn’t able to make a second pit stop during the British Grand Prix as it was deemed too dangerous. After working his way up to eighth at Silverstone Albon wanted to pit to replace his worn tyres but Honda had advised Toro Rosso not to as it would be unsafe. Albon’s car had a ‘high voltage issue’ which meant that an injury could have been caused to someone if they just touched the car, meaning that Albon dropped to P12 in the end. Honda’s Toyoharu Tanabe said (quoted by Motorsport Week): "Unfortunately, Alex dropped out of the points in the closing stages, as he was unable to make the...
