Ferrari return likely for Alfa Romeo boss after replacement confirmed

Simone Resta has moved closer to securing a return to Ferrari after Alfa Romeo confirmed his departure from his role as technical director, as well as his replacement. Resta left Ferrari for Hinwil in May 2018, having previously served as the Scuderia's chief designer, where he was seen as a key figure in the Ferrari cars of 2017 and 2018 that pushed Mercedes hard in the aerodynamic stakes.
