Buemi uninjured after Silverstone crash

Sebastian Buemi has avoided any injuries after crashing during a Pirelli test at Silverstone, just days after winning the penultimate race of the Formula E season. The Swiss driver finished on top of the first New York E-Prix last Saturday before finishing third during the second race on Sunday. It meant the Nissan E Dams driver finished second in the overall standings, behind Jean-Eric Vergne. He currently holds the record for the most Formula E wins. Following the British Grand Prix, Pirelli were working with Red Bull and Williams as preparation for the 2020 tyres.
