Vettel: Little need for a UK city race

Sebastian Vettel is delighted that Silverstone will be staying on the Formula 1 calendar, but he doesn't feel it needs supporting with a city race. Formula 1 officials signed a deal with Silverstone to keep it as the home of the British Grand Prix until 2024, and a thrilling 2019 race gave the perfect justification. It's understood that the new deal included certain assurances to protect Silverstone if Formula 1 does add another British race to the calendar – an event around the streets of London is being discussed.
