Alfa Romeo tech reshuffle continues with new head of aero

Alfa Romeo has confirmed the appointment of Alessandro Cinelli as its new head of aerodynamics, continuing the reshuffle of its Formula 1 technical department. Following the departure of technical director Simone Resta to Ferrari, previous head of aero Jan Monchaux stepped up into the senior role, with Cinelli joining as his replacement. Cinelli arrives at Alfa Romeo after 17 years with Ferrari, working most recently as its head of aero experimental group, and also has experience with Williams and Tyrrell through a 22-year spell in F1.
