“Fantastic to see how Daniil and Alex raced each other” - Tost

Toro Rosso team principal Franz Tost has said that it was “Fantastic to see how Daniil and Alex raced each other” at the Hungarian Grand Prix after the two went wheel to wheel. After an excellent German Grand Prix which saw Toro Rosso earn their second ever podium in Formula 1 after Daniil Kvyat took third and Alexander Albon finished P6, they couldn’t quite replicate the same performance in Hungary. The Red Bull sister team didn’t quite have the pace from the get-go at the weekend, with both cars starting P12 and P13, but felt they had good enough pace in the race. But Tost admits that the team pitted Kvyat too early, which caused his tyres to suffer...
