Mercedes driver Valtteri Bottas has opened up about his difficult period during the last few months of 2018 after the Formula 1 season had ended, as the Finn concluded the season winless despite having a title-winning car. After a very unlucky start to the 2018 season, losing out to a win in Baku because of a flat tyre he got in the final laps, Bottas was demoted to Lewis Hamilton's number two for the rest of the season, as he helped the Brit in fending off Sebastian Vettel to secure his fifth title.
