FIA to monitor tyre pressures at all times from 2021

The FIA is set to introduce a special tyre pressure monitoring system common to all teams in 2021 that will provide the governing body's stewards with relevant data on pressures and temperatures over an entire Grand Prix weekend. Along with a new set of regulations, Formula 1 will usher in 18-inch wheels from 2021, a move that will be accompanied by a ban on tyre blankets, compelling the FIA to enforce tyre pressure constraints.
