Raikkonen: Almost pointless to have raced

Belgian Grand Prix – Alfa Romeo's Kimi Raikkonen says his race was destroyed right at the start of the race in a collision with Red Bull's Max Verstappen. Kimi Raikkonen had looked fast throughout the practice sessions at Spa-Francorchamps, before qualifying in P8 on Saturday. Elevated to P6 as a result of grid penalties for the two Renault drivers, Raikkonen made a great start to jump Max Verstappen off the line. However, the Red Bull driver tried to dive back up the inside of the Alfa and the pair made heavy contact. Raikkonen's car snagged on the front of the Red Bull and flipped up into the air.
