Charles Leclerc ready to fight for the Formula 1 world championship, he admits
Charles Leclerc has admitted he is ready to fight for the Formula 1 world championship, and adds he "shouldn't be in the seat" at Ferrari if he didn't feel as if he was ready to fight. Leclerc recorded his first Formula 1 victory over the weekend, with the Ferrari driver dominating the whole weekend in Belgium for the Italian team's first win of the 2019 season. The Monegasque driver is now 12 points behind Sebastian Vettel in the drivers' standings, but the Ferrari duo are fourth and fifth respectively in the championship, with Max Verstappen, Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton all ahead of the pair.
