Aldo Costa to leave Mercedes for top tech job at Dallara

Mercedes Technical Advisor Aldo Costa will leave the Formula 1 team to join Dallara, taking up the role of Chief Technucal Officer. Costa, who last year took a step down at Mercedes from Engineering Director to become an advisor to the team, will formally leave the reigning F1 champions at the end of September and will start his new role at the Italian manufacturer at the start of 2020. Dallara is a design and manufacturing company which builds cars for several series including IndyCar, Formula 2 and Formula E and also works with Haas to design their Formula 1 car.
