Wehrlein offered himself to Haas but they preferred other options

Pascal Wehrlein offered himself up as a driver for Haas but the team's principal, Gunther Steiner explained that the team prefer to have more experienced drivers. The German currently drives in Formula E for Mahindra Racing having spent a couple of years in Formula One in 2016 and 2017 as the main driver. Werlerin has been missing from the grid for a few years now which would come as a bit of a concern for the Haas team principal.
