Alex Albon sees Singapore as 'almost a home-race' for him

Red Bull Racing driver Alexander Albon has revealed he sees the Singapore Grand Prix as "almost a home-race", with the Formula 1 rookie originally born in Thailand. The race in Singapore is the closest race to Thailand (distance-wise), and the former Toro Rosso man has revealed he will have more family members there watching him because of the distance. "The Marina Bay Street Circuit is a new track for me and it will be my first time in Singapore, so I'm interested to see what it's all about," Albon said on the Beyond the Grid Podcast.
