British Grand Prix remains free-to-air in UK

Channel 4 have agreed a new ‘multi-year' deal with Sky Sports to keep the British Grand Prix on free-to-air television. Channel 4 had regular free-to-air races until Sky's exclusivity deal kicked in ahead of the 2019 season and that will remain in place until at least 2024. As a result, Channel 4 were left with just full live coverage for British Grand Prix at Silverstone this season. The same schedule has been agreed for at least the next two years with Channel 4 retaining highlights of the other 21 races on the 2020 calendar.
