Sainz: Hulkenberg would be on the grid when it is only about speed

McLaren driver Carlos Sainz has come out to defend his former teammate Nico Hülkenberg, saying the German would be in F1 "until whenever he wants" if the sport was "just about speed and talent". Sainz and Hülkenberg formed a partnership at Renault for about a year and a half, with Sainz replacing Jolyon Palmer at the French works team during the 2017 season.
