Daniel Ricciardo 'surprised' that Romain Grosjean is staying in Formula 1

Daniel Ricciardo was "surprised" to hear the news that Romain Grosjean would remain in Formula 1. The Renault driver had thought that the Haas driver would move to Formula E after the Frenchman had a poor 2018.  “I heard only a few days ago that he was going to be in Formula E,” Ricciardo told France’s RMC Sport.  “I thought he was going to leave Formula 1, especially as the last seasons have been up and down for him. Maybe it was time to find something else. “So I was a little surprised, but not too surprised.
