Sergio Perez handed reprimand for incident with Kevin Magnussen in FP2

Sergio Perez has received a reprimand for an incident with Kevin Magnussen during FP2 at the Singapore Grand Prix which saw the SportPesa Racing Point driver move over the Haas as they set up for a hot lap. Both drivers were preparing for a hot lap around the Marina Bay Street Circuit as Perez moved over Magnussen, causing the Haas driver to brush the outside wall to avoid a collision. This resulted in both drivers being summoned to the stewards with the decision being made that the Mexican was at fault and handed a reprimand. The statement issued by the stewards reads: “The Stewards determined that both drivers were setting up for a fast lap and were following the two...
