Lando Norris “got up to speed pretty quickly” on first Singapore outing

McLaren rookie Lando Norris has said that he felt he “got up to speed pretty quickly” on his first outing at the Singapore Grand Prix as the team looks to maintain their fourth place in the constructors’ championship. 2019 has been a breakthrough year for Norris as he made the step up from Formula 2 to Formula 1 with McLaren as he has helped the team into fourth in the constructors’ standings as well as being14th in the drivers’ standings. F2 doesn’t race at the Marina Bay Street Circuit so it marked a first for the McLaren driver as he adjusted to the track and conditions quickly to perform long runs in FP2. “A decent day.
