Patient Daniil Kvyat expects to stay on 2020 Formula 1 grid

Daniil Kvyat believes his performances through this season have been sufficient for him to be retained by the Red Bull programme on the 2020 Formula 1 grid. Kvyat returned to Formula 1 with Toro Rosso this season, 18 months after he was axed by Red Bull’s programme, following a second spell at the junior team. Max Verstappen has a 2020 Red Bull seat but the identity of his team-mate, and the occupants of the Toro Rosso seats, have yet to be determined.
