It was another disappointing weekend for Williams as Robert Kubica finished in 16th, while George Russell recorded a DNF. Kubica started 19th on the grid and pitted after 21 laps to change to the hard Pirelli tyre before again switching back to the medium tyres under the safety car. The Polish driver felt that he adjusted well with the troubles which came with this race. “I think I coped pretty well with all the difficulties that this race brings to the driver, to the car, and the tyres," Kubica said.
