Pierre Gasly: Red Bull seat “not something I want to focus on”

Pierre Gasly has said that the thought of a possible return to Red Bull is “not something I want to focus on much” as the team assess’ whether the Frenchman, Alex Albon or Daniil Kvyat will partner Max Verstappen in 2020. Gasly was given the promotion to the Red Bull senior team from Toro Rosso at the start of this year after Daniel Ricciardo made the switch to Renault. But things didn’t go to plan as results didn’t come and he was outperformed by Verstappen largely throughout the first half of the season, prompting Red Bull to make a change. Gasly made a return to Toro Rosso switching with Albon and is focused on trying to beat new teammate Kvyat as...
