Jenson Button: 'It was a strange race for Vettel'

Jenson Button says that it was "a strange race" for Sebastian Vettel, as he was told to hand over the lead of the race to teammate Charles Leclerc. Vettel took the lead at the start of the race, but was not supposed to hold it, as per a deal with Leclerc before the race. The German pulled away and started to create a gap, but was undercut by his teammate during the pit stop phase. However, soon after, the #5 Ferrari ground to a halt with an MGU-K issue, ending his race and his hopes of a second win in succession.
