Good news about Correa: 17 hour leg surgery was successful

Juan Manuel Correa has had successful surgery which should help his recovery. The 20-year-old went in for a planned operation which took doctors 17 hours to perform as they reconstructed his lower right extremity.  The Ecuadorian driver woke up from his coma and then had to make an important decision. Correa's leg could be amputated, but there was still a possibility for a major leg operation. Correa opted for the latter and is waiting for a long rehabilitation process after the successful operation. Correa remains in a London hospital and will be having more surgery in two weeks time, but this is a less complex operation.  A statement on the Formula 2 website...
