Kvyat always knew the race would be 'tricky' after qualifying result

Daniel Kvyat finished the Japanese Grand Prix in P12, but he always knew that it would be a tough race for him, after qualifying in 14th position earlier in the day. His teammate Pierre Gasly was in the points, securing a 9th place finish. “This morning everything was OK until the last lap of my Qualifying. I don’t know why I was so slow on the last lap, the car felt a bit different to Friday – the conditions were quite different – but we all had to deal with it in the same way, " Kvyat said in Toro Rosso's post-race review.
