Horner: ‘Boris is closer to a deal than we are'

Red Bull boss Christian Horner reckons Boris Johnson is closer to securing a Brexit deal than Formula 1 is with their 2021 regulations. Both the current Brexit and 2021 regulation deadlines share the same date of October 31, leading to inevitable comparisons between the two and how they will impact on their respective futures. Auto Motor und Sport reported a rather bleak update on Formula 1's plans for 2021, with teams holding an internal vote on the proposed 2021 technical regulation changes.
