Magnussen believes he's ready for a top seat

Kevin Magnussen says that he does not want to stay in the midfield for his entire career, adding that he is one of a few drivers who deserve a shot at the top seat in F1. The Dane raced for McLaren in his first season in 2014, but they were no longer a winning team by then, and he found himself on the sidelines in 2015 as Fernando Alonso joined Jenson Button. Since then, Magnussen has raced for Renault and Haas, without troubling the podium positions, something he is seemingly frustrated by.
