Albon starting to feel more comfortable in Red Bull F1 car

Alexander Albon says he now feels more comfortable driving Red Bull’s 2019 Formula 1 car and believes his progress was reflected in his strong performance at the Japanese Grand Prix. The British-born Thai driver led Red Bull’s charge on Sunday at Suzuka after teammate Max Verstappen was turned around at the first corner on the opening lap by Ferrari’s Charles Leclerc. Albon ran in fifth for much of the race until he managed to leapfrog Carlos Sainz Jr’s McLaren up to fourth thanks to carrying out a two-stop strategy.
