Marko: 'The pace was really good, but something went wrong with Albon'

Alex Albon was running in the podium positions in the early stages of the Mexican Grand Prix, but the four Mercedes and Ferrari drivers managed to slide past him before the chequered flag. The British-Thai driver finished in P5 ahead of teammate Max Verstappen who spent time in P20.  Mercedes pulled a masterstroke by putting both Valtteri Bottas and Lewis Hamilton on one-stop strategies. This option turned out to be the correct choice, but Aston Martin Red Bull Racing committed Albon to a two-stopper early by giving him a second set of medium tyres.
