Binotto: New F1 regulations an advantage for big teams

Ferrari boss Mattia Binotto has warned that the 2021 Formula 1 regulations will turn out to be an 'advantage' for the bigger teams in the paddock who can muster the resources to adhere to the new era. When the new rules were finally revealed on Thursday, F1 declared that they will lead to 'a more balanced competition', where success is about 'how well a team spends its money, not how much it spends'. Ostensibly until Thursday, the top three teams had opposed the rules. But it then emerged that Ferrari voted for them in the World Motor Sport Council.
