Hamillton: Lauda would take his cap off for sixth title win

Lewis Hamilton has thanked Niki Lauda for his influence in helping his career after winning his sixth F1 drivers’ championship at the United States Grand Prix on Sunday. The Brit went into the race knowing that a finish eighth place or higher would see him secure the title, with him eventually finishing second behind team-mate Valtteri Bottas.
