Hulkenberg calls BMW DTM rumors 'fake news'
Nico Hulkenberg says rumors of his move to the DTM series with BMW have not only been greatly exaggerated, they are simply "fake news" according to the German driver. Alfa Romeo's announcement on Monday that it will retain Antonio Giovinazzi for 2020 blew away Hulkenberg's last hope of remaining on F1's grid next season. However, several media outlets also - including Motorsport-Total.com - relayed a story placing the Hulk with BMW next year in the German DTM series.
