Most race wins end with the team boss applauding the driver but in Brazil Christian Horner congratulated senior strategist Hannah Schmitz for her 'bold' race winning strategy. Verstappen started the Brazilian Grand Prix from pole position, dogged lap after lap by Lewis Hamilton as the two covered one anothers' strategies. That, though, changed on lap 52. Valtteri Bottas retired from the grand prix, bringing out the red flags and, unlike Mercedes, Red Bull called Verstappen in for a fresh set of soft tyres.
