Racing Point vows fightback but accepts sixth now 'tough'

Racing Point has vowed to “come back strong” in Abu Dhabi but now accepts it faces a tricky task if it is to finish higher than seventh in the Constructors’ Championship. Racing Point, under its Force India guise, finished fourth across 2016 and 2017, and placed seventh last year despite losing its pre-summer points due to the process regarding its mid-season takeover.    Racing Point entered the Brazilian Grand Prix in sixth, fractionally ahead of Toro Rosso, but lost substantial ground to its opponent due to Pierre Gasly’s podium finish.
