Kubica silenced detractors with his F1 comeback

Robert Kubica feels he can walk away from Williams with his head held high as he proved his detractors wrong in his comeback season. Kubica returned to the Formula 1 grid this season, racing for Williams despite believing his career was over when he crashed at a rally in 201l. The Polish driver partially severed his right forearm, also suffering fractures in the crash. Eight years later he was back on the Formula 1 grid for the start of this year's Australian Grand Prix.
