Brawn: Abu Dhabi DRS issue proved need for change

Abu Dhabi Grand Prix – Formula 1 Managing Director Ross Brawn says the lack of DRS at the start of the race proved why F1 needs change, and fast. Formula 1 suffered a somewhat embarrassing server failure behind the scenes at the start of the Abu Dhabi Grand Prix at Yas Marina, resulting in none of the drivers being able to use the Drag Reduction System (DRS) for the opening 18 laps of the race. This resulted in some interesting battles developing on track, such as Nico Hulkenberg against Valtteri Bottas – with Bottas unable to pass the Renault for several laps.
