Baku City Circuit reveals long-term sustainability plans

Organisers of the Azerbaijan Grand Prix have revealed proposals to make its event more environmentally friendly, in the wake of Formula 1’s eco-plans. Formula 1 announced last month that it aspires to have a net-zero carbon neutral footprint by 2030, with the ambition of making all events sustainable by 2025. On Tuesday the Baku City Circuit launched its own green programme, with the intention of using more sustainable materials at future race weekends, combined with a “large reduction” in single-use plastics.
