Fernando Alonso: Lewis Hamilton is “at the same level at least” as Schumacher

Two-time Formula 1 World Champion Fernando Alonso has said that Lewis Hamilton is “at the same level at least” as legend Michael Schumacher, being amazed at how the Briton is performing at the moment. Alonso, who left F1 at the end of 2018, watched on as Hamilton claimed his sixth World Championship to sit only one behind Schumacher’s seven, as well as within touching distance of breaking his record of 91 wins. The Mercedes driver admitted that it was difficult year and Alonso echoed his feelings with the late challenge from Ferrari and performances from Red Bull. "It’s amazing what he is doing in F1 right now," Alonso said to Channel...
