Verstappen: Red Bull future depends on 2020 start
Max Verstappen says Red Bull need to be competitive from the very first race next season if they are to challenge with Mercedes and Ferrari for the constructors’ championship, and convince him to remain with the team. In 2019, it took the team and new engine provider Honda a little while to ease the transition from the Renault power units in place the previous season, with Red Bull’s first victory not coming until nine races in when Verstappen won in Austria.
